Due to specific funding from Sacramento City Unified School District and Twin Rivers Unified School District the ALEC (Annual Lao Educational Conference) is a free conference mainly for middle and high school Lao students and their parents from within these school districts. However interested individual can also attend and participate in the ALEC by donating $40 to LAAO (Lao American Advancement Organization) for the cost of lunch, conference supplies, facility rent, and other related costs that may incur from the conference.
